About Me

The full story
My name is Bahía Mejliker, and I was born and raised in Rosario, Argentina. For as long as I can remember, I've always felt a deep desire to travel and explore the world. Since I was a child, dance has been my passion, a space where I found incredible expression and release. Shortly after finishing school, I embarked on a journey that took me to Barcelona and Tel Aviv, where I spent nearly a year taking ballet and jazz dance classes.
Upon returning to Argentina, I knew I wanted to live abroad. So, shortly after, I packed my belongings and moved to Tel Aviv. For a few years, my life took a different path: I studied pastry and worked in incredible restaurants, an experience I had always dreamed of. However, I felt that something was missing. Over time, I realized that this lifestyle was wearing me down.
Over 10 years ago, my dad introduced me to the world of yoga. He had been practicing for a long time and invited me to join his classes. At first, I didn't connect much with the practice, but I knew there was more to discover. In 2018, I reconnected with yoga, this time on my own initiative, and began to deeply enjoy it. I found a safe place, a space to calm my mind. I started attending more classes, met my teacher, who still guides me to this day, and decided to do my first teacher training.
During that time, I was combining my work in the kitchen, where stress and long hours affected me, with my meditation practices and Buddhist teachings. As I immersed myself in Buddhist philosophy and yoga, the long hours in the kitchen and the lack of a healthy routine no longer resonated with me.
Finally, I decided to quit my secure job as a chef to dedicate myself to yoga as a way of life. When it comes to food, I focused on what I am most passionate about: helping people love food by teaching its kinder and healing side. I firmly believe that food has the power to heal.
If you ask me what yoga means to me today, I would tell you that it is my way of living. It is an endless path of learning, a tool that makes me happy to share with the world. I firmly believe that if we all practiced a bit more yoga, the world would be a kinder place.
